Locator
Quick start and zone setup reference for the Verustrack Locator.
Quick Start
- 1Power the Reader and Locators.
- 2Open IQWeb → Admin → Location → Pairing.
- 3Wait for the Locator to appear under Locators available for pairing.
- 4Click Pair.
- 5Confirm the Locator moves to Currently paired locators.
To remove a Locator: click Unpair next to the paired Locator.
Zone Setup
Use 4 Locators per zone.
Typical zone size: up to 300 × 100 ft.
Install Locators at least 4 m above the highest expected tag position.
Keep each Locator within 150 ft of the Reader.
Maintain a clear, unobstructed path between the Reader and Locators whenever possible.
Point the Locator's unshielded antenna corner toward the center of the zone.
Avoid metal or other objects directly in front of the antenna corner.
